The Auburn Fire Department is a combination full-time and paid on-call department. The central station at the Auburn Safety Complex is normally staffed with two full-time firefighter/ EMT’s Monday through Friday during the business day. The full-time personnel provide initial response for fires, emergency medical and other calls for service, in addition to providing routine vehicle maintenance, building maintenance, fire inspection services, community outreach and education, and other preventative activities.
