State of NH predicted Fire Danger
Fire Permits are required for all outside burning
If Daily Fire Danger is Class I or II Burning is allowed
Class III days burning may be allowed
Class IV and V days, burning is strictly prohibited
Category 1
The burning material is contained within a 2 foot ring of rocks (a campfire)
Seasonal issued for the entire year.
Category 2
The burning material is contained within a 4 foot ring of rocks (a fire pit)
Seasonal issued for an entire year.
Category 3
A brush permit used to burn small piles brush.
Issued as needed on a daily basis
Permits available Monday thru Friday 7am to 4pm
at the Safety Complex or by calling the Deputy Warden (603) 247-7511
